Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Merihim studied abroad. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Spice Merchant who has hired him part-time. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
