Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Darrow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He exudes charisma. He is a tour de force of persuasion. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He got into the Laborer business at a young age. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has achieved small success as a Laborer.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with red colored cloaks and clothing. His long golden hair reaches down to his waist. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Halimath was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: This late middle aged man wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition and is in decent physical shape. His long chestnut hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Namfoodle was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Namfoodle was born on a far southern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Namfoodle was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and gnomish compassion
