History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Aelar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Aelar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has achieved small success as a Miller.
