History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the right. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His childhood dream was to be a Dyer, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Motivation: To be a Dyer again.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 47. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Seamstress; and he desires power and/or immortality
