Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Layabout they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Barrister, and he later adopted a second daughter.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
