History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Vlorn's homeland. Vlorn decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Layabout. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
