He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Burto grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Burto abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Burto was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and he wants revenge against drow

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born in the north. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He takes great joy in being the best Carter in town.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently the stress of being a Carter has made it difficult for him to sleep.
