He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bernard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
