History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Korfel has worked very hard to control his curse. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
