Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears skinny pants and wears a red and blue robe with the hood down. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His gray eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Burgell was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a simple blue robe with tan stripes complete with hood, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is braided into rings. He has a dull look in his black eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Cressel would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Cressel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 4'2" and dresses like a well dressed Miner does. He has no hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines green.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for him, and Orsik does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the west to a Miner, Orsik learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He struck the Miner job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
