History: He was born into a rich family. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Rivaan's homeland. Rivaan decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
