When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carpenter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Fonkin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Fonkin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
