Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: Kairon lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Kairon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kairon decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

History: He was born into a rich family. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Oppleby was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Oppleby's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
