History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. During his travels, Brottor and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Brottor discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Brottor fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Lewis lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
