History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Jak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Shoemaker. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gormogord was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
