History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shifting grew up listening to his father's many stories. Shifting abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
