History: Vrondiss lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Lance was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
