History: Edge was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Edge has worked very hard to control his curse. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears dull black sweaters, loose green pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed monstrous two handed axe, just in case. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Fax was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His crest, while still mostly green, has prominent grey streaks. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Miller. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: Azzakh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.
