History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gimurt was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Umpen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
