Description: He is a husky man, who is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by gnolls and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Banker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and many gnolls want him driven away

Description: His right side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He wears white robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his rapier. His white hair is long and unkept. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Burto embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Burto was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Through the years after Burto was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Burto's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: Born in the north to a Map Maker, Sammal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. His brass crest is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines red.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is greedy.
