Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. His hair is golden and very short. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: This western man prefers to wear flannel. His clothes are grease stained in places. His blue hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Doctor who has hired him part-time. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.
