History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Skirt was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Skirt fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
