History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by vampirism.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ar-Kaius's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Armorer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Armorer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.
