History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Thorin was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Architect they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sculptor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
