Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. Personality: He is a Miller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Wiggens enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Wiggens was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Adept, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Gnome Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Miller and occasionally as a mercenary.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a brown costume with the symbols of death on his torso. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He has moderate length red hair. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson brown hat.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
