He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He keeps his long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. His amber eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and halfling compassion

Description: This slender man stands about 3'8". He prefers to wear flannel. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Shoemaker, his father struggled to pay the bills. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Interpreter, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
