History: Born in the west to a Soapmaker, Brottor learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Bookbinder, but he got bored and became a Soapmaker. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.
