History: Burto lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gifted student he started as a Barber, but he got bored and became a Courier. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Howard embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: He is fixated on the number 4. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Born in the east to a Jeweler, Solomon learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He has worked as a Jeweler like his father before him.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.
