History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He tends to his Map Maker job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he usually wears his blue robe and has his whip always slung over his shoulder. With a patchy chestnut beard and wild chestnut hair. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Burto lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cook and was forced into it by his family.

Description: This fat eastern man has a bulbous nose and wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His blonde hair is long and unkept. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Cook. He became a Cook soon after.
