John was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. A true patriot, Alex would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Alex hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Orthog was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bowyer. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Orthog never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: He was born into a rich family. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and his religion dominates his actions
