Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He wears his blonde hair down. He has gray eyes.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Veit enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Dwarves in the east were limited. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His white fur is braided into rings. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for him, and River does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. River was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a black coat over a violet low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His hair is silver and curly. His hazel eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Gerbo was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bookbinder. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His silver hair is thinning but still full. His gold unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: Oriax lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Dyer and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
