Personality: Ernest speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
