History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in shield use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
