History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ûkbûk was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Bertram enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
