History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Shivering's homeland. Shivering decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shivering fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Nykkan hails from a village terrorized by goblins. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
