Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Elves became a terror of the countryside. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He worked as a nervous Shoemaker and found it very stressful. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
