History: Taklinn hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Gimgen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Gimgen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Courier.

Motivation: To be a Miller again.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Gifted from a young age, Clerebold studied abroad. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Cleric who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
