Description: An older man who dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He takes great joy in being the best Mercenary in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He got into the Blacksmith business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A middle-aged man, he sports tan clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, and is pretty ugly. His long brown hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
