History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. He moved out east to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content

Description: This malnourished man wears silk and lounges about seductively. His hair is brown and curly. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his silver eyes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He typically wears blue cloth garments or leather armor. He is portly but not overly obese. His chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gilbert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
