History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Percival grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He dresses like a well dressed Map Maker does. His hair is cut close to his head. He is baby faced.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. He has worked as a Map Maker like his father before him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.
