Description: He wears dull white sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed longbow, just in case. He carries with him a set of longbows, each one with a sapphire on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. His purple hair is long and unkept. His eyes are gold and catlike.

Personality: He is a Dilettante first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Nirgel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

His hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. He has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
