History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: He was born in the east. Faran was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
