When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has achieved small success as a Fortune-teller.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Whurbin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Whurbin grew up listening to his father's many stories. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

His first spouse was a Navigator, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
