History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many goblins want him driven away.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Trym isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. The war was a terrible time for him, and Trym does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Beast hails from a village terrorized by drow. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and many drow want him driven away
