Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Lamlis hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Locksmith father left him crippled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Tanner, and he later adopted a second daughter.

He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bounty Hunter they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Miner, and he later adopted a second son.

The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
