History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Kaladan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Kaladan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Kaladan and his spouse have recently divorced.
