Description: 5'7" and muscular, this southern man wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a grey coat. His brown fur is thinning but still full. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, River will drive conversation. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, River is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: River was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Burto was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: This man loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and wants to work out more often
