History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Ortegar's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He works hard and plays hard.

History: Ortegar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father
