Personality: He hates Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Melech was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: Skirt hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it
