History: Xappan hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Xappan liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Damien grew up listening to his father's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is his passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
